Compare the actual cabinet options
Cabinet categories describe a general approach. The manufacturer's catalog or your project's written specifications tell you what you can actually order.

Start with the parts of your kitchen that need to work better
Mark the windows, door openings and appliances on your plan. Note what you want to change: a more useful pantry, space for larger cookware, different drawer storage or a layout around an island. Compare how each proposal answers those needs.
For a custom plan, discuss cabinet height, the arrangement of tall units, corner storage and the relationship between cabinetry and appliances. The drawing and cabinet schedule should make the agreed choices clear.
Compare finishes and hardware in person

Open the display drawers and try the hinges. Ask which system appears in your written proposal, how the storage interiors are configured and what care instructions apply to the panel you choose.
Ask every supplier the same questions
Put your priorities in writing and compare the responses alongside the proposed design.

- How are the final room and appliance dimensions confirmed?
- What does the quote include for delivery and installation?
- What production and installation schedule applies to this design?
- What product care and warranty information will I receive?
